Bad night...offfense played really bad.....defense not nearly good enough to help a struggling offense...hope we can rally to win 6.

Just got to move on and re-group. Other games to be played.

I'm not going to blame tonight's loss on the defense. Yes it's bad, but the almighty high scoring offense played like ****. Ferguson got rattled. The coaching staff had one of the worse games in norvells young career. Some really dumb play calls that resulted in negative plays but hey let's try another one. Just a frustrating bad loss. The tiger defense was out there 15 minutes longe because the offense couldn't do squat. The secondary missed Rupert big time on several big plays for ucf.

Just a bad game all-around. We looked flat and a bit rattled on offense. Riley did not play well at all and made UCF's defense look all-world. On the bright side, this is Norvell's second year and he will learn. It was bound to happen sooner or later. The true test will be how we rebound. I feel good about this year's squad and also feel good about the future of our program. Let's face it, Ole Myth/Tennessee/Arkansas are not banging on the national championship doorstep anytime soon and we should be able to keep the momentum going in the next couple of years.

There is no reason to be embarrassed about something over which you personally have no control. That defies logic. Surely, your self esteem is not that tied up in a team of 18-23 year olds.

If so, you must die a thousand deaths over a lot of things outside your control.

The Congo offense played a factor. Between the 1,2,3, kick series and the turn overs the defense spent most of the game on the field.

If calling slow developing 'gimmick' plays near the goal line when the defense has been in your backfield all night is considered 'orange', then I agree.

At least we did not lose at home to Troy.

Looks like with so many injuries and over half the season ahead of us, coach will be forced to remove red shirts on some kids. Oklahoma players LB Cade Mashburn & DB Quindon Lewis would be a good place to start.
