Not necessarily, NDSU hosted twice against unranked oppoments (Delaware St and Incarnate Word). Villanova is better known and will likely stay in the top 25.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The CAA is stronger with Albany and Elon winning, not weaker. Maine is good, SB is good, what's not to like about the strength of the conference? (Coming from a JMU2FBS fan)

I think the OP said it because the two
CAA teams that lost were ranked in the top 10 and lost to unranked CAA foes. That means the CAA will only have one top 10 team next week most likely in JMU.

This is my point on the other thread. It's great if the conference as a whole is stronger but if we don't have several teams that dominate (top 10-ish) it puts us at a disadvantage in playoff bids and seedings if the next best CAA teams have 2 or 3 losses.

I guess the flip side could be if the conference is generally stronger we should do better in the playoffs but I guess we'll have to see how the season goes. One thing is for sure, there's no way we should be ranked below the Southern Conference this year and having The Citadel, and especially Wofford, in the Top 10 is a joke.

So, after 4 weeks, 10 teams from a 12 team league, have at least 2 wins, and the league, as a result, looks like week sauce? Got it.
