You guys have a great D, but you can't leave them on the field for 3/4 of the game and not score much. I'm really surprised. Texas Tech isn't exactly gang busters.

Tech would probably win the AAC.

Kyle Allen was great last week. Rice's D is closer to what we'll see each week in the AAC than Tech.

They are saying on the radio don't be surprise if Allen does not see the field the rest of the season.

Applewhite happened...

Ah yes, you were the one unhappy with his hiring, right? But that's likely not a direct reason Allen is ineffective so far. Postma already looks better than Allen. That's not on Applewhite.

Allen already benched, three games into the season, not good

We aren't going to win, might as well switch things up and see what Postma can do. Allen isn't benched.

Tech would win the AAC? Hmm, I doubt that. They beat ASU in a shootout, and ASU will likely fire their coach this season.

They would probably win in similar fashion against Memphis. It would be close, that's why I said probably.

It's on Applewhite that he chose to start Allen over Postma.

Levine never had a signature win. He never beat a team with much of a pulse except when Ward was QB. And he had humiliating loss after humiliating loss. This is bad but not humiliating.

that said, his teams did go 16-10 his final 2 years...after a couple seasons learning Brohm's offense he may finally be ready to be a HC somewhere (just not UH, lol)

Triple A, even if I'm wrong, I think the point still stands about Rice being closer to what we will see on a regular basis than Tech.

So you're predicting blowout wins vs every AAC school on Houston's schedule this year? Noted.

So, you think Texas Tech is that much better than UCLA and Josh Rosen, the best QB in CFB?

Okay then. We will disagree.

I was talking about Allen and his ability to perform against D's closer to Rice than Tech, not anything about blowouts. The average AAC offense is obviously much better than Rice's.

Yeah, when you're playing the AAC East, lol. I'm not sure Rice could beat anybody in the AAC. Maybe ECU or UConn, but I doubt it.
