I don't even comment on politics very much at all. I didn't even vote for Trump and still have a lot of issues and questions about his intentions. Yet here you are suggesting I worship a man I didn't even vote for just so you will feel more justified in defending Kimmels nasty comments.

You shouldn't need an outside opinion to agree one sides comments were respectful and other other was nasty personal attacks and childish physical threats. That's not an opinion, its just stating the facts.

Based just on the words used by each, Kimmel and Cassidy, Kimmel was acting like a jerk. He even went after the Fox guy, who in turn responded very professionally, further making Kimmel look like a jerk. Kimmel may have some sort of a point; however, his delivery leaves much to be desired.

TV is so segmented since cable gained hold, I was surprised at the ratings when I looked for the current over-the-air Late Night Shows.

They are way down from when Johnny Carson had the late night... just too many other news and commentary shows on cable that draw comparable number of viewers.
