1) I think an alum should support our team regardless of what level we are playing
2) I think the Kibbie Dome is great-(if attendance is good)
3) I like the Sun Belt conference
4) I do believe our athletic director has done a good job with his resources and wanted us to stay FBS.
5) I don't want us to drop down which is agreed upon, but I am excited for games vs Eastern Wash, Montana, and Montana State which is not agreed upon.

1. I'll still be happy if we win but they won't get my money anymore. Does that count?
2. Me too! But I'd like to blow out a wall and make a horseshoe.
3. Me too!
4. Agree as far as it goes. My biggest problem with Rob Spear isn't what he's done with the resources we have, but that he does very little to get us more resources. I don't know of a worse fundraising AD.
5. I think there might be something in the water in Montana so I'll let this one slide.

In my book it does but usually donate as well. Kind of a balance of can I make many games vs donating. If my home game attendance suffers, as it has with youth sports overtaking my life, my donation will go up. If I can make every home game and know I am buying multiple tickets, not to mention concessions I dont stress about my donation size. When I get older and kids are gone no doubt I will be doing both though a lot more.

I always thought the horseshoe idea was great. I live in Missoula and every co-worker I have other than maybe 2-3 are Griz alumni so seeing Idaho kick ass in Washington-Griz stadium is something I have been waiting a long time for. I go to all the Griz home games and love the stadium, the best game I have ever gone to was a night playoff game versus App State actually. It was during a blizzard and the game was pretty wild.

No. Just like going to a movie you are getting entertainment for the ticket price. Donations are simply because you want to help. Of course, it you give enough there are perks included.

By the way, this just reinforces why the conference feels the way they do about your fan base. I should have expected no less.
As far as your signature it is complete BS as well.
I was just participating in these stupid reindeer games; I don't see another single poster using these opinions to besmirch another.
As long as he keeps up his signature I'll keep up mine.
And at least I didn't alter the quote as it was written.
Don't like my quote, take it up with Drew.

For me (these are my assertions which the majority of the GS fan base probably doesn't agree):
1. It's not the athletic director's fault we don't get more interesting non-conference games or P5 home and homes.
2. A single big Power 5 win is not going to catapult the program into being an AAC candidate. Consistently competing with Power 5 teams and winning at least some of them is going to garner more respect than getting one BIG win.
3. Auburn is not a top-10 team and the game is winnable if we get a fast start like we did in 2014.
Interesting topic, and I decided to revive it for a little bit (a worthy zombie topic, IMO).
I'm one of a very small minority of UGa fans that doesn't want to play Georgia Tech at the end of the year anymore because I believe it has become a non-competitive series. I still want to play GT every year, just not on Thanksgiving anymore or the Saturday following Thanksgiving. I'd rather play Auburn or Tennessee at the end of the year (if Auburn, end the Dawgs season week before Iron Bowl, so Auburn & Alabama can keep it around Thanksgiving. If Tennessee, play the Vols on Thanksgiving week.)

You've lost 2 of the last 3 and you want to say it's noncompetitive? I would have agreed with you saying it was noncompetitive a few years ago, but it seems GT may have turned a corner in this series.

When you all first joined the conference, understandably, your message board warriors wished hatred upon each other and even rooted for each other to lose OOC games.
Now, at least on this BBS, it seems you've all realized the importance of ALL OOC wins for our schools and the Belt benefit in an "all for one, one for all", "team win" here in FBS/"big boy football" SBC land.
Does the majority of your non-BBS base understand and embrace the importance of holding your noses and rooting for your hated rival (each other) to win that OOC game yet or do you find yourselves having to explain this to your fellow fans?
Sorry to be this guy, but I still want Georgia State and App State to lose every game they play. Everyone else is cool and I root for them to win. Sorry, that's the way it is.

I think his videos are like Star Wars Episode 7. They appeal to the sense of nostalgia (the Vandys commercials that used to be on the radio) and if you don't have that nostalgia you probably don't care for them.

I'm with you there, nothing that great about them. Nice of him to spend half of his video this week telling us that no GS coach since Erk has bled as blue as CTS.

You do realize there will be some point in the future where you'll be rooting for one of these teams to lose and for your own team to lose hundreds of thousands (or more) dollars at the same time, right?
