Usually the Tuesday before the first game. Might be Monday because of a Friday game

Carey just did his radio show.
He knows who the QB is but wouldn't say who (it'll be Graham)
Sounded like it'll be less Huff as the feature back and more of a by committee (stupid)
Hagan handling KOs and kicks
Ference is the punter

Sounds a lot like last year. And people are expecting better results?

Barring injuries our defense should be a lot better than it was last year. They are DEEP on that side of the ball. If they can produce at a mediocre level offensively then they are capable of winning every MAC game. I'm shocked you spend so much time here if your expectations are that low.

Graham is the QB. Running back by committee. 'Nuff said.

Which coach's wife sent Jordan Huff nudes?
Was frustrating enough watching the opposite-of-explosive ACRB the last few seasons and was looking forward to a game breaker getting majority of the touches. If it's a committee I hope Huff is at least getting a majority.

Huff will get the crunch time carries. They're trying to keep him healthy which is smart.

Was a joke lol....My way of asking why the hell Huff isn't the feature back.

From all appearances, he was never a favorite of Carey, and that seems to be continuing. Let's hope we can have at least one RB step up and this RB by committee doesn't screw up any momentum.

Iol I thought we had another scandal that would dominate this board for another six months.
It sounds like it's by committee not because Huff is lacking rather there is just too much talent to utilize only one back. Carey's been hot on four backs this years. If you have the talent, use it and keep people fresh/healthy.

Huff has over 1300 yards rushing and 13 TDs the last two years. Let's not sit here and act like he was glued to the bench. He also was playing behind a RB who was super productive.
And let's not act like Huff is a player without warts. Go back to the Ohio game in 2015. He missed a block that directly led to Graham getting hurt. He also missed a block when Hare got hurt last year.
I personally would give the ball to huff 300+ times this year. I still think he's clearly the #1 guy and will get the majority of carries.
But let's not act like he's perfect. It's probably a mix of some his warts and as 81 said keeping him healthy.

Gotta keep Huff fresh. He'll probably get a majority of carries regardless of the fact that it's by committee. Lots of coaches do this. Not worried. We have a few home run hitters in the backfield this year.

I agree that we have a very good stable, including Jordan Nettles but would like to see him redshirt if, as someone else said, he's only going to be getting 4 or 5 carries a game, if that.

Who's acting like he's perfect? It's just that you have to do a bunch wrong to make up for the extra 3 yards per carry he provides, at least last year. If Huff gets the majority of the carries and the other guys are mixed in, that works for me.

Huff tries to extend plays and break tackles, that alone puts him in the doghouse. Under Carey its all about getting off the field as quick as possible, not sure why but its much like Coach Montgomery in that those coaches are more at ease when the opposition has the ball. There is such an enormous fear of the "mistake", that it can be paralyzing. To these coaches, the basketball or football is seen as a hot potato, you don't want to be holding it.
