The AAC favorite seems to be crapping the bed.

Overrated?

This shows why preseason top 25 rankings are stupid. Noway they're the 19th best team in the country.

Yep - Colorado St would probably beat USF by 14-21 or so they looked like a much more complete football team

USF now up 35-16. USF suffered from bad field position in the first quarter, and all of SJSU's points came from drives starting in plus territory. Once USF fixed the field position issue they got it going.

USF will do well under Charlie Strong. The Longhorns suffered 3 consecutive losing seasons under him, which was the first time that's happened in Austin since 1956. But USF will be a better fit for him.

RE: South Florida vs San Jose State
It's tough to go out west and start on all cylinders. From what I saw, USF will likely continue to be favored in all of their upcoming games. San Jose State was a guaranteed win for the Bulls (agree they are the worst in the MWC), and once the Bulls got rolling, they did just fine. The only thing going against the Bulls this year, is their poor schedule (sounds familiar to this Herd fan.) That will hold them back. btw, Colorado State looked pretty darned good in their opening win against OSU.

USF got off to a slow start due to being intimidated by the crowd! 03-wink

LOL...02-13-banana
It was typical of what happens week one. There is a reason that is usually the biggest week for upsets.

Strong will do great at UDF because he has connections with coaches down there. At Tx, he didn't. Also, USF will let him do whatever. Tx didn't. USF is like a Louisville. Strong will be good there.

Colorado St. looks like they can play with just about anybody.

Yep. The Rams are solid this year.
