However, anyone who watched Season 1 of "Last Chance U" knows that Minshew's team got their anuses re-adjusted by EMCC during the regular season, and only got to the title game because of the brawl that disqualified EMCC.

Sirk played in a much better league than Minshew, and against MUCH better competition. He was tremendously successful and led Duke to a great season and a bowl win.

I hope Minshew does well. At the end of the day, I just want ECU to win football games. I think Sirk is better suited to that end, but I'm not the one being paid $1M+ to make those decisions.

We'll see how it shakes out.

They'll both play in the game. Maybe Sirk only gets goal line reps, maybe more. I think it will remain fairly open. Minshew gets snaps with the 1's leading into this game. If he struggles early, they give Sirk a few drives, and he does better, then it's the Sirk show. Either way, I'm confident that they'll put the best guy out there at any point.
