Lookin real nice! I really like that the sponsors are somewhat transparent and not on solid black.

Awesome....Just kinda sucks to think how Coach Fick and Co. will have to grossly over achieve this year in order to keep Nippert somewhat full.

PNC Doubled down, All 6 of the ads are transparent, when new sound system goes in next phase, the speakers will be behind the ads

I hope our graphics department ups its game. It would be a shame to see this board wasted with the same basic graphics. I'd like to see pictures/videos of every starting player on that board when their names are announced before kickoff. That's what the big boys do. Looking at a jumbotron and seeing yourself 30 feet tall can make anyone feel larger than life.

It would also be a shame if this board is loaded with advertisements like the ribbon boards.

I agree with that for both fball and bball. Very little if anything in the way of scores of other games going on. At one time, that was standard content. Rarely see other scores in bball.

That sounds promising. So if I understand correctly, UC has already paid Daktronics for a set amount of man-hours in graphic design. UC will request specific graphics, and the amount of man-hours spent on the design will be deducted from the amount UC paid for.

If that's the case, I'm expecting our new graphics to be top-notch.

Daktronics is a pretty widely used sign company. I bet Under Armour has a "package" of graphics to use also. I'm pretty excited for the new board. It will have a major affect on the fan experience.

The full soundsystem and full ribbon boards.

My understanding is that the new scoreboard came with the new soundsystem, but the rest of the stadiums speakers will be upgraded next summer. I could be wrong about that though.

if the sound system that is being used the rest of the year, was what was available at the Us Open Cup last week, then good luck hearing anything.. I am hoping they just didn't have everything plugged in during the construction..

If T-Shirt is correct then good, because that sound system was JV at best as hooked up during USOC game..

I had heard improvements to the sound system would be made for this year with a new sound system and ribbon boards for next season.

Video board is amazing ..looking forward to next Thursday
