Responsible folks own guns that are properly registered...they also don't store thousands of dollars of drugs in the trunk of their cars.

I wouldn't call it 'immoral'. Just another choice. How does this person get it together from here is what always come to mind, especially if the person is young like Joe.

The prodigal son is a fun parable. Have to say, though, I did sympathize with the good son. That dude had obeyed his daddy and never strayed and dad dude didn't have a party for him...

More importantly to Joe, it's illegal behavior. Nothing wrong with discussing it.

Joe played last month in the NBA Summer League with the Phoenix team. Didn't do much, but still was on the roster. Probably had a chance to return to the G-League. Safe say that he can kiss that goodbye. NBA teams don't give roster spots to fringe players in trouble. Better be on your best behavior, unless you are a star.
