But you seem to want to overlook the FACT that Nike is intent on expanding the scope of the brand, that although Jordan was a basketball player they(Nike) want it stand for greatness, excellence, putting maximum effort into your craft, you know like Jordan did as a player & that transcends any sport. Now it doesn't hurt he went to UNC & why not play off that as much as possible given the brand awareness among the 17-18 year olds they are recruiting in every sport

Look, I understand that you are all full of yourself since Clemson stopped "clemsoning" in what Clemson fans deemed their claim to fame, football. AND, I know that it has been 36 years since you guys were top dog, but act like you been there. AND, I understand that unlike the rest of our national championship winning athletic program, football is lacking. But it really is sad that you have to try and put down others in order to elevate yourself and your team.

Can you really call it your claim to fame if it takes THAT long to win again? AGAIN, we are more successful than Clemson could ever dream of when it comes to athletics. My alma mater unlike yours, wait a minute, that's right, you are not a Clemson alum ... anyway, my alma mater is far superior in our claim to fame than Clemson. And, at the very least, we have won in football at the mighty Clemson while you guys are 0 for in Chapel Hill. Yeah, I know, "we talking about football .... blah, blah,blah".

See, unlike YOU, are fans can root for more things than Fall football and spring football. God knows we wish the football team can get it going. But unlike YOU, we don't have to try and crap on other programs to feel better about our team and athletic program.

When you are fighting a reputation likecUNC fans deny they have and do something like this that reinforces the reputation you deserve to be mocked just as much as you get mocked for trying to put yourself out as being an academic powerhouse yet get exposed for years of institutional academic fraud.

I don't believe UNC laid claim to have the best Afro American Studies program in the land. I find in humorous that putting the most famous alumnus on a football helmet bothers you. Perhaps he should have appeared on a baseball cap first...

0-56 +... maybe more... I stop counting when the mighty Clemson Tigers could not win a bball game in Chapel Hill during our lowest era. We haven't beaten you guys a lot but at least we have won at Clemson. By the way, our athletic department is still better than yours. And the really sad thing about it, Clemson and USC can combine all their national championships and still can't equal our Women's Field Hockey Natties. And, if you combine the National Championships in the sport that you supposedly excel in (Clemson -football (2) and USC - baseball (2)), you still can't equal us in our claim to fame.

So, please go have a seat and talk to VaTech, maybe color or something but try and keep yourself busy while the grown folk talk. Really don't want to put you in time out.

Better yet, go back to your lounge chair, grab your lotion and continue replaying your victory against Bama. Never know if it will take another 36 years to get back there.

Dean Smith is the coach that gave North Carolina national fame. So yes, North Carolina is a basketball first school just like the University of Kentucky is. In fact UNC and UK are basketball twins. And they both are usually weak in football.
