USF with the 34 class on rivals currently and 42 nationally on 247. #2 class in AAC, just behind Cincinnati, but will jump UC for #1 once all our recruits get rated, unless of course the Bearcats bring in more. Currently at 20 3 stars, which could go up once the last couple of commits get rated.

Assuming both of the last two get rated as 3 stars the total points most likely would have been good for 3rd place based on last years totals. The average rating is below the top from last year as well. Not bad.

If Strong does as well as expected and takes USF to the Access Bowl. He will have better offers than an Ole Miss on probation.

Not worried about it, USF would be an attractive job if he leaves
I thought an NCAA rule just passed that no program can sign more than 25 in a year? If that's the case, your class is filling up fast, with what appears to be a lot of depth type players, or ole strong is gonna have to drop some signees

Yeah, it's a pretty good class so far. Not great, but very good. #34 in Rivals isn't too bad.

That said, I am kind of expecting Strong to close "strong", and land a couple 4 stars at the end. He is a good closer. With us already having 25 commits, this may mean some grayshirts for our lower ranked recruits or maybe some early enrollees that can be back dated to last year. I believe we can sign up to 32 if we have early enrollments and back date due to the fact we signed only 18 last year. I could be wrong of course, just what I have heard.

You can back date some to 2017 for early enrollees. You can also grayshirt or blueshirt some to next year's class.

I THINK. I am not an expert, just repeating what I have heard.

And, unfortunately, like you said, some can be dropped if better recruits come along. This happens. I am not saying Strong would or would not, but it happens. Recruits also change mind often, so it goes both ways.

8. Toledo
9. Western Michigan
10. Navy
11. Memphis
12. WKU
13. La Tech
14. Miami, OH
15. App St.

That assuming everyone is academically eligible. Sometimes you pull in 30, and let the kids on the edge know whats up. You can't hold a spot for someone who can't play.

Definitely. Better to be in a good position early, and have the control to make the tough decisions later

Another commit 3 star QB Jordan McCloud. Up to the #28 class on rivals and #1 in the AAC and G5.

It's a decent class and all but you know you won't stay that highly ranked right? Only usf and navy have that many commits.

It's hilarious that some just keep trying to spin 'plays in an NFL stadium' as a negative...

There is a reason why NFL teams play in NFL stadiums... because they are AWESOME. You think recruits, most of whom will never play in the NFL, don't want the chance to play in an NFL stadium? 03-lmfao
