Pretty much nailed it, and I've brought this up over before.

I found this article that was in Scientific American a few years ago that listed ways that liberals refuse to recognize science.

Link to ScienAmer

My other favorite bone header by liberals that the good folks of Portland OR have voted 4 times in the last 60 years to not have their water fluoridated.

People who like to look down their noses at people for being skeptical of climate change tend to be the ones who oppose GMOs, vaccines, and nuclear power.

Skepticism of scientific consenses is not unique to the Republican side.

I don't oppose GMOs, I'm pro vaccine, and nuclear power. I also look down my nose at climate change deniers. Personally I feel that most people that deny science are either ignorant or partisan beyond reason.

I'm looking farther down my nose at the partisan "climates gonna kill us all" science deniers. You believe that, you deny the science.

There is a difference between hyperbole and denial, both are natutral when dealing with complicated concepts that are scary.

Nobody disputes natural warming and cooling cycles but they happen very gradually over tens of thousands of years. Humans have put their finger on a finely tuned scale and there will be serious consequences.

Everyone who has an agenda they hold steadfast to must deny facts from time to time so they don't seem weak, lol.
