Wrong.
The economy was recovering under Bush.
This without a doubt might be the dumbest thing ever uttered on this board.
These were the monthly job losses at the end of 2008 and the start of 2009 when Obama started:
09/08 - 450,000
10/08 - 474,000
11/08 - 766,000
12/08 - 694,000
01/09 - 793,000
02/09 - 702,000
03/09 - 823,000
04/09 - 687,000
It wasn't until 2010 untill the economy actually started to recover.
https://www.thebalance.com/jobs-report-m...cs-3305732
The economy had already recovered. The job losses continued, because the job creators knew that a deomcratic house/senate/whitehouse would be bad for jobs. And they were right. Had Obama simply done the right thing, instead of trying to do cap and trade, Obamacare, bailouts, and continued the Bush tax cuts sooner, the layoffs would have stopped sooner.
Bump for captain deflector....

Well if he had just shut his mouth the job losses would have stopped sooner. I sent an e-mail after the election (not that I expected anyone to read it) suggesting a more positive tone about the economy. He was constantly saying how bad it was and how it would continue to get worse. He personally destroyed what was left of consumer confidence. And he continued to whine and whine until late February when Bill Clinton publically told him to just shut up (in a nice way-giving him the same advice I had 4 months earlier). Obama never realized that his words mattered in 8 years. Trump still has 7 1/2 years to figure that out.

Yep, sad thing was that the entire economy and country was set up so that if he simply did nothing stupid, he woul dhave had his head carved on Rushmore.
Instead, he went the stupid route. Just couldnt help himself.
I see that Captain Deflecto is still avoiding this thread now.

But thanks for proving my point with your chart. The economy was tanking from 2008 and bottomed out in 2009. Then Obama took over and it skyrocketed back to decent shape in 2010 just like I said.
Next.

The economy was "skyrocketing", as you say, prior to Obama taking office, and immediately after when the doofus would have implemented nothing to cause the skyrocket. Like I said, the economy was recovering prior to Obama, then did nothing for 8 years.
And its the freaking GDP numbers. Anyone who needs a link for that also needs their diaper changed.

Greenroom? Isn't that the color of insane asylum walls? Is that where you're posting from? Idk, just asking.
Everything you mentioned is fake news. Everything that was mentioned in the Hill article is accurate. You need to stop watching CNN.
Seriously dude? A green room is usually where you wait to go on a TV show at. And aren't most insane asylum walls padded and white?
It's white and padded? Thanks man, I've never been in an asylum and thank you for setting me right. You are observant though. Did you stay in one long?

RE: Great changes in 6 months
I read a guy's resume. Must've been a month ago. He was applying to be my team's "scheduling assistant". It was written by a recruiter. The entry for his last job was something like: handled large amounts of transactions daily, communicated company product options to customers, held responsibility over product inventory, etc. His last job: McDonald's cashier.
That's what the OP reminds me of. A resume made by someone whose goal/job is to make you look as good as possible. No lies, just the truth with caveats.

that's why we administered the "idiot test" for floor applicants in the '70s/'80s until we were bought out by YRK......
turnover rate went up dramatically after that......who'd a thunk it?

Oh we hired the guy. We had over 100 service calls to Food Lion (needed to be done Monday through Friday 7a-6p) from WV to SC and 10 guys in the field on my project from Maine to Georgia (could only be done Sunday through Thursday 8p-4a). We were desperate. This guy came in and was a boss from day 2.

Well its Pence, but an even bigger lie than the Russia nonsense is that Trump hasn't done anything.

Yeah, it was definitely one of those "I didn't sign up for this" moments. It was due to our contractor suddenly deciding that they didn't want to hire anymore field techs for service jobs. So I went from a project with 20 people a night to that project plus service calls during the day. Didn't see my wife for a month and a half, basically. The Spin Room was the only thing keeping me sane.
