A regular conference record of 9-9 is inexcusable for a school with the reputation and prestige uconn has and a real uconn fan will tell you the same thing, so mediocrity is acceptable in the aac, is that what you are saying?

I'm definitely not taking the side of WSU here, but the whole UConn cannot get motivated because the AAC isn't the old Big East in terms of competition is such b.s. and it is very tired.

I consider UConn a blue-blood and the coolest thing about being in this conference is getting to play UConn in hoops every year. And until this season (thanks AAC!), playing them at Moody every year, but UConn fans bitching and blaming the conference for their recent slide is a bad look. This is still a really good basketball conference with established programs (UConn, Cincy, Temple & Memphis), up and coming programs (SMU, Houston & UCF) and now adding a solid program like WSU to mix. Quit blaming the conference, you know that is not the issue, it's your HC.

Don't get me wrong, I think Ollie is a bad coach, but how good would WSU have been last year if McDuffie and Morris were out all year?

Not so much on here but the few times I've visited the boneyard, it seems almost all of the blame goes to the AAC.
