How current is that? and (not looking) how does that look for May as picking up major gains like she'd hoped?

Honest Question 07-coffee3

No major gains she lost seats. She'll have to resign.

RE: UK election results
Britain has more to worry about than this election? Britain may be an Islamic nation within 20 years. Britain is being fundamentally changed.

http://speisa.com/modules/articles/index...years.html

"Such a change could be a serious concern. When Islam becomes the dominant power in a society, Sharia law oftens follows and non-Muslims may be relegated to dhimmitude which means they are subjects of the Islamic state."

Don't think it's not happening. It's amazing what goes under our nose that we fail to see.

Be very careful linking anything from Speisa - they are known to be deliberate in spreading infactual anti-Muslim news.

She had 331, so she lost seats. That list was last night with 638 of the 650 called.

Midterms in the US are going to be brutal for Republicans if they don't change, and they won't.

RE: UK election results
Liberal Democrats have really declined. Barely even 4th. They were the 2nd party in Britain up to about 1920 before Labour took over the left (actually they, as Whigs/Liberals had most of the prime ministers). They had 57 seats just a few years ago.

3rd parties other than separatists seem to have trouble in the English speaking world.

That sounds like the exact same song we heard in 2016. Just replace midterms, and it's exactly the same song. I didn't pay the piper then, and I'm sure not going to pay the piper now.

By change, I mean actually paying attention to what Trump voters were voting to have done...and do it.

Right now they appear to be slow-walking Trump. That will get them low turnout and loss of control.

I tend to agree if they don't change course. The big one is healthcare.

RE: UK election results
http://www.politico.eu/article/takeaways...eresa-may/

5 takeaways:

"1. Return of two-party politics
The combined vote share of the two main parties, as it stood at 5:30 a.m. U.K. time with more than 620 seats declared, was 82.7 percent, up from 67.3 percent just two years ago and the highest in any general election since 1970.
Despite their misery at losing their majority, the Conservatives, on 42.3 percent of the vote, polled better than they have done since 1983. Labour’s 40.4 percent is its best national performance since Tony Blair’s second general election in 2001...."

Its almost like the old people who voted for UKIP because of immigration switched back to vote for their free medical care.

I guess Corbyn turned out to be pretty smart in reassuring them enough about his intent to respect Brexit...that they could start worrying about their hip pain again.

Of course I don't believe him.

She already said she's not resigning.. but rather will be leading a "coalition of government".. whatever the heck that means.

It means she finds a minor party with enough seats to put her and the conservatives over the top... Most UK governments through the years have been coalitions... Typically in the UK it's hard to have a majority of seats. This is as close to a "two party" election as I've ever seen.

May and her party went stupid on internet control in the last weeks, and that really hurt them. Huge unforced errors but she will remain in power and Brexit will still happen
