The balloon story came out very early, but hat has been dismissed. It now appears to be a terror attack. It will all come out soon what exactly it was.

I have friends who have family there. Some have checked in and are okay. Some have not yet checked in.

Yeah just saw this story. A balloon just sounds incredibly stupid. High terror alert, in Manchester, a balloon? I guess its possible but seems ridiculous on the surface.

If it's a bomb or device of some type that was detonated in the foyer or concourse as people were leaving, that would definitely be the worst case scenario. And if that's the case, it will have long lasting repercussions on high profile public events of all types - concerts, sporting events, etc.

That is the goal of the Islamist terrorists. To change our plans and to live in fear of going to events like a concert. There was a reason Brexit passed in Britain. The EU let floods of these Islamists come in unchecked and this is the result.

And makes the security measures that American sporting events (metal detectors, no bags, only small clear bags, etc ) reasonable.

THE UK are used to this from the Christian terrorist group of the IRA era. They have been hit by both Religion.

These parents posting pictures of their kids and how they can't get a hold of them is hard to stomach.

We don't need a history lesson on the IRA. We all know that history. This was an Islamist terror attack against kids at a concert. When will the left wake up to the reality of Islamist terror attacks. I can only hope the British people don't just accept this and now react with heavy armed responses. Trump is on board to this and thank goodness Obama is not not in charge anymore.

Not a bomb that a Islamist terrorist would use. It sounds like a bomb used at the Atlanta's olympic park bombing which could be anybody.

Please list your qualifications for being an expert on terrorist bombs? Better yet, for once how about posting a link to prove one of your out of the blue sky posts. Seriously, do you just make this stuff up?
