Is this actual gibberish ... or did you read it on a .org website?

you only do "talking points" which you parrot. It's not hard to understand. Urban areas by design are meant to control it's populace and influence. "Subsidized economics" is one method of control. It's why urban areas almost always vote reliably for one party, especially a certain demographic. Different master, same game.

Well of course it's not hard to understand ... if it was the preconceived notion that you already held in the first place.

It really sounds like a conspiracy to me, not scientific theory.

Which can only be proven by choosing to live in the suburbs, exurbs, or rural areas of the country, right?

No. Point being many don't have the means to "get out" of the city.

RIGHT WHERE THEY WANT THEM

Yeah, it must be hilarious that I won't just accept as true, the thing you're trying to show is true, as proof that it is actually true.

Even if every major inner city lost population, which of course is not true, that would still not prove, in the slightest, the claim that living in the city is inferior in any aspect.

Minneapolis and St Paul have both gained population since 2010, FWIW.

Gaining population, but losing the wealthy who refuse to pay the high taxes. They are undergoing the standard wealth flight that every big city has faced after they raise taxes above a certain point. The people who are affected by the high taxes and have the means to relocate do. The poor working class who are also affected by the high taxes but dont have the means to move cant. Further exasperating this will be the lower property values when more people want to leave dodge, meaning even more people are going to be "stuck" because they cant find a buyer for their house that will pay off their mortgage.

So the wealthiest get out, and the poor working suckers are stuck.

Its the way it always works.

San Francisco right now is where Detroit used to be. The only reason SF is where it is right now is due to the technology companies. When that changes, and it will, and SF starts losing tax base, they will do what they always do, and start raising taxes even more. And it sets the avalanche in place.

I wouldn't count your chickens just yet. All it's going to take is a few to decide they're fed up.

Besides that it's apparent that you don't give a flying **** about the "little people" in San Francisco. Hypocrite.

LOL, why do companies choose to stay in liberal areas instead of all moving to Marsha Blackburn's suburban Memphis district? Oh...because half or more of their employees would quit first. All you have there is Fed Ex (but that's in Cohen's district) and that's only a one off by a hometown kid.

And its not just SF/SJ/East Bay. Its Boston. Its NYC. Its South Florida etc. Raleigh/Chapel Hill isn't conservative. Neither is the city of Charlotte.

And housing is far cheaper in the suburbs than it is in cities. Its not taxes...its that the market has spoken... And people like liberal cities. You might not like them. But others do. And they're the job creators (at least the good ones anyway).

Liberals are so full of ****.

Quote:Where have American jobs gone? Some have gone the way of automation. Others have gone overseas. And now, it appears that they're also moving to the suburbs.

From 2000 to 2010, the share of jobs near city centers declined in 91 of the 100 largest U.S. metropolitan areas, according to a new report from the Brookings Institution, a Washington, D.C. think tank. As of 2010, 43 percent of jobs were 10 or more miles away from cities' central business districts, compared to the 23 percent of jobs that were within three miles.

MIT grads? Cal Poly grads? Stanford grads?

Look, even throwing money at them doesn't work. Russia tried that with a 50 billion dollar investment in their Skulkovo Industrial Park. Offered 3 times what everyone else was paying. They got a few people to go over there. Then they got fed up with the constraints and limitations of living in an oppressively conservative culture and went home. Skulkovo has a few low end coding shops there today.

---

There's a global competition for talent. These people are much more likely to be not-Christian, not-American born, not-White, and not-straight. They aren't moving to conservative areas because they don't want to live around people who don't like them. You guys run around passing anti-foreigner bills, anti-Gay bills, anti-non-Christian bills and generally make it crystal clear to everyone not like you that the rules are set by the white, straight, evangelical incumbents in the area. These people have choices. They're not choosing East Shelby County Tennessee for a reason.

And some of you guys complain incessantly about transplants to North Carolina or Virginia or Nevada. Well guess what......that's what happens when you get top level talent....They either are accepted on their terms.....or they leave (and take the company with them in many cases).
