The problem now though is that any actual collusion may not even really matter much any more. If Trump obstructed the investigation or did other nefarious things, he could be up for impeachment regardless if he personally colluded or not.

So, if nothing comes from this, will the Dems finally let it go?

Besides, there will never be 100% letting go of anything. Most of the cons here still basically think Hillary personally killed Stevens even though countless investigations told them otherwise.

It's not really that hard. The investigations are still ongoing and the findings have not been released. It is still equally possible that there was absolutely no collusion whatsoever, and I would totally accept that outcome if that's the final conclusion.

Impeachment is a long, drawn out process. But ultimately would cost Trump and his business/brand billions of dollars.
