Please tell me you not serious with this Charlotte thing!!??!!

Cincinnati has been a well known place for over 200 years. Charlotte is a Johnny-Come-Lately.

BTW I have no connection whatsoever with the City of Charlotte.

RE: So if Cincy and Houston were on fire
Cincinnati is named after the Roman general Cincinnatus. He was brought out of retirement to defend the Roman Republic, which he did. When grateful Romans wanted to make him an emperor, he declined, stating that Rome needed to remain a republic. This was of course unprecedented in history for a conquering general to decline power. Cincinnatus was the inspiration for George Washington, who also retired from public life after a successful war in the American Revolution. Of course later, GW was brought back to help write the Constitution, and become our first president; after which he retired from power a second time.

So I would pee on Tulsa.

Houston continues to finish top 3 in our conference in football, basketball, and baseball. Keep away from us because we are on fire.

Houston. I've never been a fan of Ohio. For some weird reason almost everybody I've met from there ends up being a d-bag.

I'm pretty sure the Wright Brothers would disagree on that point... just sayin'

I thought we all learned last summer that flight was discovered in Brazil, rendering Dayton and the entire state of North Carolina utterly useless.

Alberto Santos-Dumont was Brazillian, but flew in Europe, and did it three years after the Wrights.

What is Ohio's deal again? Did anyone actually fly there, or are they just saying that the pilots were born there?

we gave you the men. good luck flying without pilots. and when you consider the insane amount of astronauts from ohio, wouldn't you have to conclude that ohio man was birthed in the sky?

In 1853 (16 years before the Reds) the Cincinnati Fire Dept became the first professional fire department in the nation. You can save your pee for more useful things http://www.thealternativedaily.com/ingen...-with-pee/

The Golden Hurricane would be more than happy to give either city a Golden Shower.

The plane was designed and built in Dayton. The only reason North Carolina was used at all was for the wind in December (they didn't have the wind in Dayton during that time, plus it was cold) and the dunes to launch from. Most of their testing was in Dayton and that's why when you go to the Smithsonian section about the Wright Brothers you see their house, their cycle shop, and pictures of Dayton all over the place.

Cincinnati, because they gave us cannons to help fight the despot Santa Anna for our independence.

That's because the USS Ohio was a nuclear submarine. There were 2 aircraft carriers named the USS Wright. The first was named for Orville, the second for both brothers.
