Very solid article with lot's of data. We are favored to win in 10 of 12 games. The other 2 are almost 50/50.

What's truly outstanding is that it's taken the powers that be so long to realize what could be. The Tiger's had some great teams in the 60s and early 70s, but the university let itself be intimated be the SEC alumni in town. No more.

Navy is a conference foe with a national footprint - who has owned us the past couple of years - UCLA is eye candy 04-cheers

Its because it's a conference game. Winning the conference would mean more than beating UCLA and losing to Navy. We're not going to the playoffs so conference championships mean everything.

I have the greatest respect for Navy, but from a national perspective a victory over UCLA would have more impact.

Not necessarily. A win against UCLA might not be any better than our victory over U$C in '91. If they have a bad season again this year, a loss to Navy could cost us the AAC.
