It might be good for him to go. The pressure on him at this point, is enourmous. If it takes a change of AD, then I'm all for it. Didn't Raines push Bowen into giving Pastner that ridiculous contract back in 2013? I remember reading that she wanted to keep Wonderboy for his amazing APR. He's been the scapegoat for almost as long as he's been here.
