Interesting. Keelon says Coach Smith treated him very well and that the two of them talked all the time. Would have liked to see Jason and John follow up and ask him how that squared with what his brother was saying about how he was treated.

Says that his reason for leaving had nothing to do with Coach Smith and that Coach treated him and his boys great. Says he feels like there is nothing else that Dedric can do individually at Memphis. Wanted to get back on the market.

Just said that there was nothing that Tubby could say last week to make them stay. Said the decision was already made.

Said that Tubby is an excellent coach, and that he will recruit the right kids to get the job done and that Tiger Nation should allow him that opportunity. Said Tubby is a "genius" when it comes to coaching and that he learned a lot from him.

Keelon said when KJ and Dedric committed, they were under the belief the team would have been comprised of Pookie, Kuran, Nick, Austin, and Shaq. Could have done great things.

Keelon is relatively calm. But the wife and the brother, Chuck, are outspoken. Chuck has pulled the race stuff many times on the radio.

He also said he was ready to follow Pastner to G-Tech, the same guy who ran off Pookie, Kuran, Nick, and Austin. That was the only head scratcher to me, everything else he said seemed reasonable but if the reason the boys were not happy was because the team was not as competitive as they thought it would be after the transfers, why follow the guy whose players always seem to transfer?

Bowen should be taken out and beaten by giving them release without restrictions.
