THESE ARE JOSH PASTNER'S PLAYERS - GIVE TUBBY SOME TIME
We need to clean house!! Here's why:

We don't have a point guard that can break down the defense when we need points.
We don't have enough size.
We don't have enough go to scorers.

Lastly, with these group of players, do you think that J. Pastner would have done a better job? NO

Be patient and give Tubby some time TO GET HIS OWN PLAYERS.

Pastner had recruited a point guard who is currently starting at Cal and doing a very solid job. Pastner also had a 7 footer who left. I'm not sure why these guys couldn't have been kept, but they weren't.

Cool. Let Tubby bring in his three 3* and the 0* that he's battling Manhattan for.

Then he can "coach em up" like he did this year's team.

Because our HOF coach was busy lining up putts to make a phone call.

Josh lost to FREAKIN Tulane last year and had a worse record.

Did Josh suck last year? Yes

Did Tubby suck this year? Yes

Can we stop comparing now? Probably not

Bad thread.

Really is time to give that crap a rest.

Team was playing fairly well, showing decent improvement, before this 7-8 game absolute implosion.

No implosions, more energy next year. The idea of energy was one of the worries with Tubby, hopefully this is an aberration. We are not TX Tech. Must work hard.

I was willing to call the last pastner years a blip.
Now it's a trend.
A disturbing trend, at that.

They are yakking about Dedric.

Love that kid.

And get the idea that perhaps he cannot improve his NBA stock no matter what he does next year...since some of his physical and athletic ratings are lower.

But,

He is not projected to be a first rounder anywhere, and very well could go undrafted. Selfish reasons, but, would tell nearly any kid...good chance of not getting drafted, stay in school.

Would also tell them there is nothing wrong with playing developmental league, getting paid, there or elsewhere.

But, with promises of complete energy, and more depth, he has a real chance to be an all American.

Stay young man.

Tubby has all the time in the world unless he WANTS to leave. It appears the powers-that-be have neither the insight nor the will to get Tiger basketball back on a winning track.

Challenging for conference championships and decent NCAA Tourney seeds may become more & more the exception.

I am pretty sure that most of the players were Josh's. Kinda reminds me of what Tommy West left Larry Porter = NADA! 01-lauramac2

I'm pretty sure that there was a decent amount of talent on this team and I'm pretty sure that Tubby sat on his ass and didn't do anything to add to this roster in the offseason and I'm pretty sure Tubby's team just lost the last two games by a combined 71 points.
