I'm streaming the ASN feed through Chromecast.

ASN audio is always awful for me. Stream it and it gets better.

I switched to the online stream and it is fine. Better quality video also. I think the problem may have been with WTVZ.

Online is worth the slight delay IMO

Our media contract is an utter disgrace. I believe Wood was on the committee that negotiated it... one more reason to send him packing.

This may not be so bad. If it gets all the stuff that was on ASN on Campus Insiders then honestly it's an improvement. If beIN picks up the package, or at this point is begged to, and they agree to, just take the ASN games for free, that would be an improvement.

I don't understand how BeIN is an improvement? Does anyone actually get that station?

This also means Oliver Purnell needs a job. I could see him and Twardzik working well together.

I think a lot of people get it. I just don't think they realize they do. I think Cox has it, and all of the streaming services have it as well. I would actually be happier with a Bien exclusive than any combination of CBS Sports, ASN, and Campus Insiders. At least Bien puts on a first rate broadcast and treats the games like they are meaningful.

If ODU or C-USA ends up with basketball and football coverage that requires people to log onto a computer and stream the video in order to view the games then that is unsatisfactory and an embarrassment. CAA games (for example) were on several times a week without needing anything but my remote control and a TV directory.

If it is also shown via streaming on a web site in addition to being available on a TV network (that is readily accessible) then that is a bonus.

Yeah, you can count me as one who had it and didn't realize it until ODU had a game on BeIN. I enjoyed their production. Really high quality, especially in comparison to the other garbage channels we get coverage from.

Times have changed. As someone that remembers those days, there were games were we had zero tv exposure too. At least nowadays, if you have a computer and internet, you can watch every single game.
