Look how long it took for us to get back and get deeper runs in the NCAA tourney after Dana and Larry? We went to the final four during the what 84-85 season with Dana? Then Finch took us to the elite eight in the early 90's. Yes, historically Memphis has a winning tradition but Cal took us to the tourney consecutively. We were 12 seconds away from winning the national championship, baby!

Fuente went to a Bowl game without 4 and 5* players. He coached them up because he's a great football coach. How far did we get with multiple 4 and 5* players under CJP??

He didn't. His 2cd year Vaughn got hurt and our PG was Leon Mitchell. Penny couldn't do everything though he tried so hard. Lost in first rounf to WKU.
