It is frustrating, not just for NIU but the entire conference. You feel like a red headed step child. All your brothers and sisters are playing on the traditional day for college football and they pat you on the head and tell you to go play on Tuesday and Wednesday when no one really cares. If you could see the positive results you could say OK, but there are none.

Right, if we were the only game in town on tuesday and wednesday and had fans in the stands, it would be totally worth it. But these weeknight games have gutted the MAC fanbase, and it's a travesty. And the extra subsidized exposure has not led to better talent in the conference.

Will be the lowest attendance season in years with all the week day games.

That is ungodly cheap. Everyone in Dekalb should be there, that's truly insane lol.

It's 30 bucks a game. Season tix might be $60 but if people can only make it to TWO games it is not so great. Not everyone live IN Dekalb. People outside of the area have to take time off of work for weeknight games.

This is ridiculous. We went from 6 Sat. games - some years back - to 5 then down to 4...and now we have TWO Sat. games? total BS

Yes, I retract my previous statement. No one will be there if there are only 2 saturday games. Terrible.

So - seeing our 2017 schedule ....You guys still having that love affair with Sean T. Frazier?

Time for him to go. All the years of building NIU football from the "dark days" just crumbled with this BULL S**T 2 sat. home game schedule. 03-banghead

This whole thing has conditioned fans to stay away. We should have pretty good crowds for BC, EIU and Kent because that's the whole season. After that, virtually nobody. I'll still have my season tix and be at most of the games because I have the disease but it's depressing to go out on a weeknight and have 5,000 fans there.

The MAC has zero Saturday games in November. The Friday night BC game makes sense due to Labor Day weekend. I don't know why the EMU game is on a Thursday but it's possible the league mandated that as well.

I especially like the game on Saturday, Oct 21 followed by a game on Thursday, Oct 26. Only 4 days between games...

I don't think he has any control over this.

With the first game 300+ miles from Dekalb. I'm sure the team will be really psyched up and ready to play again less than 100 hours after getting back home. Hopefully our equipment trucks are back in time for our incredible weeknight battle vs EMU.

This is not Frazier's fault for the 23734576234053609th time. This is the MAC's fault for bending over to ESPN.

This has nothing to do with Frazier. For anyone that likes being in the MAC, here you go. Hope you enjoy the schedule.

Here I am trying to expand the fan base by getting my girlfriends 4 & 7 year olds into NIU football and there are 2 possible games to get them too and those games viability all depend on game times for the 2 Saturday games. No bueno
