Mark Giannotto @mgiannotto

Chad Rykhoek (dislocated ankle) took part in 1st full practice today. Didn't rule out a potential return when Memphis faces UConn Thursday.

Could be. That's not what Tubby said in the interview though.

LOL

Unless it's to get him a few easy laps up and down the floor, why bother at this point.

It's exactly that reason. Not sure what confuses you about this. Try to win at Cincy - and get Chad ready for postseason.

The only way you don't play him is if you feel he is going to get hurt...

He aint getting any more eligibility. I can see not playing Azab if he was magically cleared.

RE: Rykhoek return
This game may be one of the worst to bring Chad in for a few laps, UC is too good may get him hurt again. Maybe give him a try vs. Tulane see how it goes.

Drug out the retread.

We all know they're 13 point dogs and likely not to happen. But the team doesn't rest players just because of that.

Weird that trolls are worrying about whether Chad plays.

Don't be scared, guys. I doubt he makes that much difference.

If I were 6' 11" and cleared to play, I know I wouldn't want to be sitting on the bench watching my team getting handled because they didn't have a big. Hang getting reinjured, put me in coach.

Yep, get some minutes to knock some of the rust off as we'll really need him against Houston. Build that stamina back up and get ready for the AAC tournament.
