Ah, my fault.

I guess App State has been so bad it's hard to care about the standings for the rest of the league. I didn't even bother checking the standings.

The thing I don't get is why the Sun Belt would have such a grudge against Ark. State, considering how they are as good a representative of the league as anyone, especially when accounting for their relative longevity in the league.

I think it is because they,or at least their fans lay the hate on "King Carl" at every opportunity.

Remember, before any of you newbies got settled in here they were here telling you how horrible he was, and getting you on-board with their "Hate him, fire him" agenda, and I advised you guys not to sign on to their agenda so fast, because what is good for them may not be good for your team.

While it may not be where anyone wants it, it does looks like the SBC has done nothing but get better under his leadership, and the newbies really should have nothing against him.

I have no doubt A-State posters have that attitude, and that is the case in every conference.

I'm just saying the posters here who follow the other SBC schools need to evaluate "Kink Carl", as the A-State posters have labeled him, from their schools perspective not A-State's.

Going to second this. I can't think of a single thing he has initiated to make this a better conference. The move ups of App, GS and now Costal were more about the schools than the conference office. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure many may not have the same issue with him, but if Karl had overruled the head of officials to impose a targeting suspension on their player, Fedexed the championship trophy to them, and pushed for a bowl bid for WKU over them when WKU was leaving the conference and they had been co-champs, and after the bylaws were pointed out and linked that stating both champs had to be selected first, they put the bylaws behind password protection, they would probably feel the same way.

Probably, but they need to look at him from their schools perspective that's all.

I'm still looking for the proof that the Sun Belt Conference office has something against Arkansas State. Where is it?

The issue I have here is just simple laziness. When they originally tweeted out the article tagging UTA as the leaders, Our Athletic Department Twitter account was quick to let them know.

The Sun Belt deleted the Tweet and sent out a revised tweet listing us among the leaders, but they never bothered to edit the actual article behind it.

This in and of itself isn't a big deal, but it just adds on to the long list of sleights against us. Not only do we have to deal with it from the state media, but also the conference office.
