And it's 2-1 ASU. That hold and we'll be down closer to 10th.

Why do they play the three on three overtime if the official outcome of the game is a 2-2 tie? It seems you are putting players at risk for injury ? I've got to be missing something.

Anyone know how Arizona State rates as a college hockey program? What did we demonstrate in beating/tying them over the weekend? Any impact on our ratings?

Ha Don't hate at all I'm all for Capitalism but I want something for my efforts, There has to be an advantage to put in extra effort and risks. Is it played the same way as the pros? Did Arizona earned an extra point in their standings by winning the overtime? Is that the reason to play the overtime?

They're in the bowling Green lssu Michigan state range, beating and tying them showed it sucks when you go up against a hot goalie. We're #5 in the pairwise now. Dropped one spot

1. Higher than Michigan State.
2. We are inconsistent
3. Dropped from 4th to fifth.

You get an extra point for winning in OT. I think ties are perfectly fine and think shootouts are insulting.

I wouldn't agree that the Broncos are inconsistent. I was at Saturday's game vs. ASU and WMU left a lot of chances on the table with that many shots. I'll also give ASU some credit. A decent performance both nights considering their first season in D1 hockey.

3 on 3 is better than a shootout but it's still not real hockey.

RE: WMU vs Az. State - Friday Night
I've watched asu most of the season they have some big time players not nearly deep enough yet to compete against the top tier teams without exceptional goaltending. They get great goaltending when they tie or win against top 20 competition reference shot totals. They have some high end players coming in next year. Their challenge is going to be how do they continue to build the program without a conference or an arena on campus or in tempe? It's possible some of these recruits may never play a game on a campus or near campus arena will they remain committed without an arena plan and a conference?
