Trump's enemies within the swamp
Good, for the most part non-partisan, article on the problems Presidents have with the bureaucracy.

Great article bullet! Trump is facing two obstacles IMO: the bureaucrats who's power is threatened by the unconventional, non-politician, businessman POTUS and the last 8 years of the Obama administration that set up and facilitated a lot of this shat. Thing is, DJT is no ordinary POTUS and I believe he will root out a lot of these enemies. It will take time, and there will likely be some collateral damage along the way, but he is probably the most competitive person to sit in the WH in a long, long time.

It is pretty clear Trump has no problem rewarding those that excel at their jobs and firing the hell out those that don't and are insubordinate. It is going to be a wild ride for the bureaucrats that are used to just pushing papers around a desk all day.

Ryan might can be salvaged..but..the other two..hell yes. I have made it a policy not to disparage JM because of his service..but..Id prefer he retire now. Id also prefer Graham retire and just go ahead and book one of the gay cruises and enjoy himself.
