Lol you are full of crap pesik. Nick Robinson has been a Memphis lean since Oklahoma backed out on offering him. We are projected to land some more high 3* and another possible 4* as well. How are you going to jump us if we keep adding that kind of talent?

You need to stop being salty.

Just like that motto the band of 17 they started after Herman left. Then some went and followed Herman and flipped to Baylor? Stop talking out the side of your neck.

you dont have to call me out on things that are publicly documented that prove you wrong

and he already decommited from you once

if you dont mind scrolling till on his tweet time line till right before new years he was clearly a heavy UH lean for a short while.. (side note that you probably arent aware, he's originally from houston)... he randomly went cold no one knew why but felt we still had a shot at him...but after he released his final 4 which included CMU but not UH everyone started attacking applewhite and the person who runs the scout in our region said we should relax that he knows for a fact we backed off of him not the other way around "That is because Houston is not recruiting him anymore."

but think what you want

He retweets a bunch of Central Michigan and Nebraska stuff. That's not where he is going. You probably stop recruiting him because your staff figured out what Nick was doing and it didn't involve UH. Arizona State and OU were the only threats in this recruitment. Norvell promoted his main recruiter to the QB/TE coach. Ken Dillingham is the only reason we are going to land 4/5 of the Fab 5 from Oklahoma

You underestimate our O-Line coach and the lure of playing for Silverfield. He is already getting 4* players out of the East Tennessee area and that's a hard place for Memphis to get recruit from in Vol country.

Your O-Line commit did visit us this past weekend. Why visit if we have a 0% chance?

Word is that we just landed our top remaining LB target. He narrowed down his decision yesterday to UH or Arizona State, and also had offers from Baylor, Cal, and West Virginia. It seems (I hope at least) that we've weathered the Herman/de-commit storm, and have began to come out the other side.

K'lavon Chaisson has said he's down to UT or LSU, yet has taken 4 or 5 visits since then. You take the visits because you can and they're fun.

Memphis is only #1 because of quantity, not quality. As UH and UCF fill out the rest of their class, they will both jump Memphis.

This is also why I hate those "no visits when you're committed to us" rules. If I was a recruit, I'd want to take as many visits as possible cause they always seem like a great time. If I was a coach, I wouldn't mind my commit going on visits because he can get in the ear of some players that I'd like to flip.

It's a win/win unless you're afraid of the recruit seeing something better and leaving you.

RE: ***2017 AAC Recruiting Thread***
There's a proposal which just passed the first NCAA legislative hurdle to allow spring/summer visits which is the way it should be. Somehow the NCAA has all these kids flying/driving all over the country on their own dimes. Basically, at a lot of schools if you commit early, these kids are getting one official visit 1-2 weeks before signing date if they don't want to jeopardize their spot. Let the kids get their visits in-then also pay for the recruiting class to visit the week before or even after signing date to bond as a group.

Memphis and Houston can keep fighting over who's winning the recruiting battle. Tulsa will just keep winning on the field. 04-rock
