There are 20-30 teams between the mac, Sunbelt, and CUSA that should drop down to FCS. They are already basically FCS in FBS clothing anyway. Time to tear the bandaid off and just 'be who you are'

I think all of the designation crap is bs. P5 technically is a marketing term. The only designation that they have that we don't is autonomous in the NCAA governance structure so it's 1/2 dozen or the other. They would never do 50k because they would lose a lot of brands and not have enough teams to play. Think Miami, North Carolina, TCU, et al. Very few truly average 50k

Many of the P5 would be eliminated if they did 50k minimum. 25-30k more realistic. If you can't draw 25k you shouldn't in D1.

We need to just get BYU, Boise, SDSU, and one of Air Force/New Mexico/Colorado State and get on with the P6 campaign.

IMO, the AAC should just add Army(FB) and BYU(all sports) and try to access an anchor bowl (and possibly BSU and SDSU, if we can get enough money from the networks). There are only a few teams outside the P5 that are considered P5 level and they need to unite together and grab an anchor bowl.

The rest of the G5 are FCS level teams...
