He would have been a 19.5 year old 12th grader if he had stayed for his senior year of high school. Somewhere along the way he reclassified or was held back a year.

Not sure about hyperbole but had the chance to study under TH for a year and was given the opportunity to take the team last year to a bowl. He may be a fine person and I'm sure he can quarterback a team somewhere with a great offensive line that runs the ball quite often.

I thought Murray State was Morehead State for a minute and was wondering why he dropped to a Pioneer League school.

Agreed. He handled this thing very well. Lot's of guys don't have the maturity to exit gracefully. Not sure what kind of football future he has, but he seems like a stand up guy.

SB will play solid football there and he will find success wherever life takes him afterward

Kid could have p!ssed and moaned about his situation. But he showed nothing but class. A real team player From a good family, and brought up the right way. I wish him nothing but the best.

I agree. Tough situation being thrown into fbs football as a freshman and replacing a legend like heinecke.

He handled it well from an outsider perspective and I think a change of scenery will do him good.

Bobby is amazing but he really did him no favors by dropping the heinecke comparison on him as a true freshman.
