Wisconsin last play
I thought it was gracious of Wisconsin coach to take a knee instead of scoring (or at least attempting to score) in The Cotton Bowl. Personally, I would have NOT taken a knee. Guarantee Fleck would have tried to score. Thankfully we don't have to listen to his philosophical ramblings anymore at least until Spring Ball.

I agree. That was a nice gesture.

I'm not surprised a coach would take a knee with ~1 minute to go and the opposing team has no time outs. Even in the red zone.

And no way Fleck would've risked trying to score if up by a TD. Especially given our case of butterfingers that game.

RE: Wisconsin last play
heard a Sirius talking head say that Minnesota is going to move their HC out and JP will be there next year. Be interesting to see if that takes place.

If Fleck has another great year in 2017, the sky is the limit for him. I was impressed with his pregame interviews yesterday.

Apart from the fact that he's proven himself to be hands down the best coaching he MAC, I don't get the hate for Fleck. I watched his sideline demeanor which was fine, I've heard the whole RBT thing which is silly but garnered a ton of attention for WMU and I've read pre and post game comments which are average coach-speak. Serious question- why is he such a polarizing figure?

I am with you in trying to score (it's a bowl game, no complaining about scoring too much), but I think they decided to end the game instead of risking an unlikely disaster turnover since WMU was still within one score.

I will give you the Best recruiter and biggest Ahole but I don't think I would call him the best coach not sure who is but he is too big of an Ahole to be the best coach.

He is so full of himself that it is oozing out of his pours. Did you see the gal with the GoPro filming his every move? Really JP?? He is very lucky that he landed Davis. I am betting that he will have to scale back the RTB stuff because that no P5 school will allow that stuff to be bigger than the school like it was at WMU. Will the Gophers put up with that silly stuff? Time will tell.
