Pretty sure we're cumulatively disliked by about everyone. Though I prefer hate to pity, which we got some of this year.

No other option; MT and WKU. Anyone who disagrees I don't hate you. Just WKU even more :)

What MT & WK may lack in quantity, they make up for in intensity.

I've actually always been pretty fond of LT. It's going to take some time to gin up any real disdain there. On the whole, it seems like LT fans have significantly harder feelings toward USM than vice-versa, but it may just be a vocal minority giving that impression.

WKU/MT - there is a reason it is called a 100 miles of hate.

I dont hate USM Im just dissappointed in our team's performance in those games.

I bet none of the team's listed in the OP have as bad of a winning percentage as UNT over the past 25 years, tbh.

Tech fans generally have nothing but the utmost respect for USM

It's clearly MT/WKU, but we're 100 miles apart and have played 65 times in football. There are members of this conference that haven't played the entirety of the rest of the conference half as many times as we've played Western.

Thing is, we haven't both been great in football or MBB in the same season in...ever? This was the first time we were bowl teams in the same season. I think there's a bit of lethargy in our rivalry for the aforementioned reasons, coupled with Western's recent lethargy with their MBB and ours with FB.

^^^THIS! The only CUSA school that LA Tech fans have any dislike for is UTSA. I think Tech fans have tried to hate on USM to stoke a rivalry, but we just can't. But hating on UTSA is easy, because UTSA sucks so bad, they try to bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

....and I hate that crap too. That's exactly why USM beats our arse every year. We need to cut out the silly admiration crap.
