Actually I was curious about ECU so i looked up your stuff. You took 11 years to win a title in CUSA in 08 and 09 were the only other team besides us to win back to back championships. You were in CUSA 15 years before you went to another G5 conference. How quickly you forget your own roots in favor of trashing teams that are where you once were but much better than you ever were.

This post actually makes me laugh. If your program could accomplish what WKU has done in just the past 4 years, I could see where you would have a leg to stand on. WKU is still relatively new in terms of FBS football. Things we can't control: athletics budget and attendance. Things we can control: stomping your ******* face in. Have a nice day!

It would be a lateral move for any CUSA team to the American. There were CUSA schools pimping themselves when it was thought the Big 12 was going to raid the AAC

FYI: you were the better team going into the game. Vegas said so too. So this isn't that big of a shocking win. The better team won.

At least ECU has a following that could support the program is success were some how sustainable. I questioned the firing of Ruffin McNeil one season after the departure of Lincoln Riley and injuries to key players and was justified in that thought by the way this season went. If ECU could have kept Skip Holtz around or allowed McNeil to have a poor season the program would have the continuity to build on. The facilities, fan support and community support are in place to have a big time program. The only thing lacking is success and that, in my opinion, starts at the top.

They gain more yards and score more points than any of us, which is why the Hilltoppers are #1 on total yards in the NCAA and Tulsa is #2. They've gained more yards than any FBS team this year.

They move the ball better than anyone in our conference.

They were anywhere from the best to 3rd best overall team we played this year. Tulsa and W KY both handled us pretty well.

We got beat by a better team; what else is there to say?

Yet what has your school done to be any more relevant...Your team sat at home wishing they were in a bowl game...After this win might be the 2nd offseason we finish ranked for the whole summer....Rather be ranked at some point then not at all like your sorry program...

Tiger fan here. I was at the Boca Bowl and saw first hand what a class act WKU was (is), so congrats on a win well deserved. Met and talked to many WKU fans and a number of your players. Fans were great to be around, before and after the game, class all the way. Also talked to some of the WKU players the night before the game, all I can say is, nothing but first class, would make their mama's proud. So again congrats on your win and good luck in the future.

Based on what I saw on television, Memphis players looked zero motivated in that game... There's was far more real solid motivation from the tigers vs Houston than what they gave in that bowl game against WKU... Just MHO

Let's move on. WKU was a better team. Vegas doesn't pull numbers out of the air. This wasn't some Top 25 team that got beat by some inferior opponent.

It is not complicated. WKU was the better team and earned the win. The Tigers, despite the set back, had a successful season. I have turned the page and started contemplating the next chapter of Tiger football.

Congrats on a good season Memphis and best of luck next year. Also, thanks to the multiple classy Memphis fans who have congratulated us on our win.

WKU was the C-USA Champ and thus had it's choice of which C-USA Bowl to go to. We chose to play Memphis in Boca because we have a large alumni following in Florida and our primary recruiting base is Florida. In addition, Memphis is a marquee name to our fanbase. Lots of respect from this end for Memphis. Two high powered offenses going to battle.....what more could you ask for?
