Oh well! Just means we have an opportunity at a "signature win" on the road against a strong A-10 team.

81-75 final.
Bonnies outrebounded Hofstra 48-35 but ended up getting outscored in the paint 32-22.
Bonnies shot .419 from the field and 50 % from 3 (8-16).
In the TO department, St. Bonaventure committed 16 turnovers and only forced 8.

I predict a lot of fouls by UNCW, a lot of TO's by SB, a lot of points, and Chris Flemmings goes off. Caccok with a double/double goes for 15/11 and Flemmings hits 30.

After extending their winning streak to 5 games tonight, Saint Bonaventure's RPI moves up to # 53.

As far as I could tell they were playing exclusively man-to-man, but then again I didn't see the whole game.

At one time they had Lanier's shoes bronzed and in the Basketball HOF in Springfield. Biggest feet in basketball! Or at least at the time.

Game 7 - @St Bonaventure 6 PM Saturday 12/10
Wow. So they basically concluded it's their biggest non-conference game since 2002. Crazy!

Sounds like they expect to win and if they don't it could be a deal breaker for them come NCAA decision time. They play better every year than UNCW but usually on the road and they typically lose those games.

They were 22-9 last year, and finished tied for first in the A10 with Dayton at 14-4. A win at their place on Saturday, combined with the CofC defeat of Davidson, would confirm our ability to compete in the conference we aspire to be a part of.
This is a big game.

I agree ,it could be an audition for the A10. Win and you have an argument for sure. Not sure St. Bonaventure will do that well this season in the A10 but winning there would help.

We definitely need to play more A-10 teams. Have to believe that would be a mutually beneficial situation for both parties.

St. Bonaventure has trouble securing home and home series from teams outside the northeast and midwest. Olean is a long drive from Buffalo, the nearest airport. It snows often and heavily there.
They draw well when they play on the road in NC. Many people from Buffalo and western NY have relocated here.

On Newchannel 14 in Raleigh they had a UNCW spotlight early in the show! I couldn't believe it but they are REALLY good for state coverage. They highlighted how good Davonte Cacok was and they indicated that he was a huge cog in our team. I have to agree. You have tremendous players like Ingram, Talley, Bryce, Moseley and Flemmings and they put the spot light on Cacok. It's a honor well deserved in IHOP. This is a very talented group of players and I don't want to exclude the rest of the guys like Richmond,Bryan, Ogbodo, Fornes, Elmore and Powell because they are talented too, but that was cool. My hope is that they don't have injuries and play together and have fun. If that happens and they share the ball, this will be a terrific team.

So my lovely wife has planned for us to go to a Christmas festival tonight. It just so happens to occur during the game.
Updates and analysis appreciated tonight
