Agreed...unless the addition would increase the proportional payout, provide additional separation from the G conferences & improve standing vs the P conferences.

I'm not jealous. The AAC is the best G5 conference. There is no argument to be made. And the Sunbelt is right there at the bottom. I can comfortably admit that. But CMON. Claiming you're the "Power 6" screams desperation. Putting a little sticker on your helmet is even sadder. You look like the little brother of the P5, trying to tag along with the big boys. Why not just own who you are? The best conference in the G5.

Again, not jealous. I'm perfectly content where I am in the Sunbelt. It fits my school well.
Also, this is a message board. I assume I'm free to provide my opinion as an outsider.
The Massey ratings may well say that, but it doesn't make you "Power 6". You aren't getting a seat at the big boy table, no matter how many stickers you slap on your helmet. North Dakota State is ranked higher than Memphis and App State (my school). Doesn't make them an FBS team. Just like your Massey ranking doesn't make you a Power conference.
