Our track record for the last game of regular season and after the bye week indicates it will be a very close game and Tech could even lose.

Holtz doesn't seem to have the team mentally prepared after bye weeks. I don't what it is but Tech has played horrible after the bye week the last two years.

I hope it will be different and Holtz finally Finishes this year

I throw the last 2 games out since the Freshman QB is prone to turnovers. Your offensive and defensive stats are pretty good. I watched the UNT game and the only glaring problem was at WR.... and undisciplined defense (prone to the big play).

That's the key. In the ODU game Southern Miss had 150 more yards, over twice as many first downs and 10 more minutes TOP but still loss by 16.

If the Freshman plays, it will probably be ugly. I think we can take care of Ito and force the QB to try to beat us. Mullens, however, can make a game out of it. He's good.

Mullens doesn't like Tech much either - we ended his season 2 years ago.

But what you fail to realize is that we turned it over and ODU took over on the short 20 or less. At the same time we would go up and down the field and then turn it over so that's why the stats are misleading. Plus I believe when ODU had the short field they usually scored within 3 plays.

Yes, they struggled after the bye the last two years. But I dont think they will let that happen this year. It seems important to them. Last year's game was 1 score by halftime. Turnovers destroyed our chance to stay in that game.

Another thing to note about the bye week of 2014 and 2015; It was the week before finals, making game-prep week the week of finals. This year bye week is the week of finals, with game prep week over the break.
