One quick correction:
Murry Bartow is no longer ETSU coach. He is an assistant at South Florida.

Surprised it's not more.
If I was a objective gambler, I would take Kansas.

And I knew that. Slipped through in editing.

Our bigs need to step up ...our guards, watts and Baxter needs to play like seniors and don't lose it for us.
I believe the 19 point spread is a bit much. .. so if Norton was healthy the spread would be what, 10...this is the best time to play this team, before they get to believing they are good.

The spread would have still been between 15-19 points with Norton. And Kansas already know they're good, it's their birthright. Simply put, UAB needs to play miles above their heads and KU needs to play down to UAB level for the Blazers to have any shot at winning this game.

Winning this game would obviously be a massive upset. I just hope we're able to challenge them a bit. The game Tuesday night is much more intriguing in my opinion.

They are all good basketball players on both teams.
The team that plays well will likely win.
We have a great chance.
I hope Kansas takes us lightly.
We will win if they do.

I like this better, than the voices that predicted, we had no chance against, in my opinion, a better Iowa st team.

Not to be an azz....well maybe but why do UAB has a great chance to win this game? It's basically a home game for Kansas and UAB hasn't fared well on the road against a quality opponent like this in quite a long time. Beating Iowa St was special because it was unexpected. But that was also a true neutral court game and UAB was fortunate enough to have the few thousand fans that were at the game cheering for the underdog Blazers.

If UAB has such a great chance to win this game then it shouldn't be considered a massive upset if we do win. Kansas has All-Americans, UAB doesn't. There is a talent difference in favor of Kansas. UAB has not shown me anything over the last three years that gives me the confidence to believe they will be competitive tomorrow night.

Hope I am wrong and will happily eat crowe if I am. I would be shocked if we don't lose by 20.

I have no problem with fans who convince themselves that UAB has a chance to win a game in Kansas's backyard. The problem have is those people are generally the ones flipping out and saying the season is over when the game doesn't go their way.

I agree with the other poster that said the second game in Kansas is a lot more intriguing. That game will tell us a lot about where our team is against a more evenly matched opponent. I'll be happy if we even give Kansas a fight tomorrow.

We are going to have trouble with 6'10 240 and 250. Those are the players who have killed us in the past. They also have elite guard play on top of it. It'll be the toughest test we have all season, hopefully we can keep it respectable.

I don't. I haven't forgotten their fan behavior in St. Louis, a Wattsian level of assdouchery. So pour it on them. Crush them into rock chalk dust. Bastards. I hope their toucan dies.
