As of 10 minutes ago, WKU basketball has announced that the number 5 player in the class, Mitchell Robinson, has signed his national LOI and will be a Hilltopper next year. With Josh Anderson also signing and the future Mr. Kentucky basketball Tavion Hollingsworth, WKU now has a top 10 class in the country and 2 top 50 players. Unbelievable. This doesn't include Buffalo transfer Lamonte Bearden and Syracuse transfer former top 50 player Moustapha Diagne. Next season is going to be a blast.

Great get and when you add these 3 to the 2 already at Western it makes for a great class. But....

I seem to recall the fighting Tony Mitchell's...losing and not ever making a NCAA Tourney. That team had a 5star center ™ and a couple 4 star transfers. So while on paper when you add in these kids to what's coming back for Western... next year looks like it could be a top 15 year (talent wise). But talent on paper doesn't always live up to on the floor play.

But damn...the talent on paper sure looks great

All true. But. Damn it feels good to get all 3 of these on ink. If Robinson is just a 1 year player and he almost has to be it'll be fun watching someone with that much physical ability for even one year. I really like both of the guards a lot as well.

The 2 txfers are gonna be just as awesome. But it's a long time before they ever play. I feel about both of them the way I did about Fred Ed. Leery as hell that they'll ever play until I see them checking into a game.
