Not sure I would say terrible, but definitely not good. Kind of like #28.

Don't think these 2 are comparable at all.

Go for Virginia Tech. Great team, great fans, classy coach - unlike Carey.

I won't find a new team but I'll be honest , if graham is the starter I may happen to miss a few games. He cannot be your starting QB next year. He is a a decent very serviceable backup

You will just be another of many. It is pretty apparent the mass exit is starting to take place. Over the past few seasons interest has been dropping as the tides have began to turn. Carey is driving this program back into the ground like the pre-Novak era. WTF!!!!

He'd be much better if our WRs practiced catching passes thrown at their feet while running full speed.

I heard that maybe Arnoldis Chapman may be available. We should hire him to throw 100 mph footballs to our receivers to practice for next season.

I wonder if a small part of it is the culture of fear Carey has set up with turnovers. I just think he has mentally crippled some individuals. Pressure and fear of the mistake are serious performance detractors

I wouldn't be surprised.

I actually find very believable. Especially watching the play selection.

A couple of buddies that came with me last night (that rarely go to games in DeKalb) asked why all of our pass plays are sideways or to the sidelines with nothing over the middle.

RE: Graham is terrible
Graham is in no way terrible, I'm not sure what people are looking at. He was 24 of 43 for 221 yards with 3 TDs and the one pick at the end when he underthrew Blake downfield. He also ran for 97 yards on 17 carries for an average of 5.7 ypc. That's a good day at the office.

Does he have room for improvement? Yeah, tons. He missed some throws and was late on others, no doubt about it. He needs to get better if he's going to lead our team and he especially needs to get better at translating those stats into points.

He's not bad now, he's just not as good as we need him to be. He needs to take the next step through next spring and summer. If he gets beat out by someone else who plays better next year that's fine with me, may the best man win. But terrible, no.

This is a case where numbers can lie. 24/43 and 221 yards is not good. He averaged 5.13 yards per attempt. He's averaging 5.99 YPA for his career...Maddie averages 6.92 and Hare averaged 7.47. His career completion percentage is 54.8% and he's never been tasked with a difficult passing scheme.

To put his YPA and Comp.% numbers into national perspective...5.99 YPA would be around 115th in the nation this year. 54.8% completion percentage would be 109th. His QBR would rank him 114th in the nation. He's borderline terrible if you look at those numbers. I will be extremely disappointed if he's the starting QB next year but there's probably a 95% chance that is exactly what happens. And to be fair, I give him credit for working with what he's got. He takes some big hits and keeps playing.

IMO Graham has one un-correctable flaw. And it's not physical. His mechanics are nice. Arm strength adequate. Running adequate. Even his decision making is decent. To put this as nice as possible, the moment gets too big for him. His best game to date was in relief of Hare last year. He was forced into the game and didn't have the starter pressure all week. He got worse each game after once he was named the starter.
When I saw the surprise start last night I thought, "good, it was probably a last minute or day thing and he hasn't had it in his head all week". And he played ok in the first half. Then things got tight in the 3rd and he just crumbled. Passes at their feet. Rockets to receivers 5 yards away...the last pass that was picked. There were several pretty easy completions that he missed. The kind of misses from someone who tightens up. I hate to say that about a player, but it's just what I see.
