Your 2 national title winners won them before the game had changed to everybody in a spread throwing 50 times a game. And for Bob and Brett to be so high on your list they sure as hell looked awful against the teams they played this past week.

That struck me, as well. Odom must be a hands-off kinda head coach, letting his coordinators do their thing, but dang...Missouri makes us look like the 85 Bears.

Missouri is going to suck for awhile. Barry would have been better for taking the job here when it was offered. MO is going to fire him one day.

And probably sooner than later. Unfortunate for Odom, the MO admin isn't really behind him. The prevailing thought is that MO "settled" for Odom, given the university tumult that was ongoing during the coach search period. The univ. president allegedly interviewed about 6 potential candidates after interviewing Odom for the job & offered it to 3 of those 6 but were turned down. Barry is a MO alum & you have to think none of that mattered to him to be able to get the HC job at his alma mater. I give Odom 3 yrs at MO, maybe 4 at most.

Yep they basically offered to job to anyone with a pulse

It's not a good job IMO now that it's in the sec

Odom was just so pumped about being at his alma mater that he couldn't see the forest for the trees

Maybe they would trade places with us in the AAC
