Just a few years ago winning a football game any where was just a dream for the Charlotte 49ers. Winning at Marshall & USM means a lot to us. To some degree we look up to you. You have what we want. We are beginning to feel like we have more than a plate at the table, we are beginning to feel like we have a voice in the room.

I am thrilled to be a part of CUSA. We want to help the conference, we now feel like we belong.

Charlotte really has stepped it up as the year progressed. Congrats on a possible bowl season.

After starting so poorly, winning on the road @ "the flagship" and Marshall is impressive!

Really wish we would have went with Klugh from the beginning, might of given 1 or 2 more wins. Either way great to see some of the seniors get some big wins in their final year.

Had we done so, I believe we would make bowl eligibility this year. We still may, but we need to win two out of three and utsa and mtsu are both pretty good.

It would be a great accomplishment if we get to bowl eligibility with the start we had.

A few years ago WKU won like 2 games in 3 seasons. You are hitting the light at the end of the tunnel, congratulations!

If you had told me, the beginning of the season, that Charlotte would beat both Marshall and Southern Miss on the road, I would have called you nuts. Well, look whose sitting under the nut tree now!

It's looking like ODU and Charlotte were good adds after all. Just wait until our bball program gets back to where it belongs under Price.

We look pretty good right now but I fear we will take a step back next year. We lose three cornerstones of the team. Phillips loss will be minimized since we have great replacements, but Larry is probably not going to be replaced next season.

I won't worry about next season though. We look good and may be bowl eligible, so I'm just going to enjoy the rest of this season while it lasts.

Indeed you do. Congratulations to Charlotte and its fans. I would argue that as recently as this past September, it was still a dream for Charlotte to earn some quality CUSA football wins. I wasn't a believer that you were ready. But Charlotte has stepped up and beaten two of CUSA's proudest and best football brands in just the last few weeks. CLEARLY, Charlotte belongs.

Now comes step two. You'll know for sure that you "belong" when you go into some of your next CUSA games AS THE FAVORITE, and inexplicably get your ass beat like a rented mule. That's called "conference play", and it happens to the best of us. That's where our mates from USM and Marshall are right now. Only THEN, will you truly understand what it means to belong. LOL!

I dont get why Charlotte belongs is even a question. They are a young program like UTSA. I cannot think of any of the 2013-2014 additions that do not belong in CUSA.

UTSA, ODU, and Charlotte have all endured a great deal of criticism since joining the league, here's a to the Newbs for getting it done this week. We've all got a ways to go, but to be where we are this quickly is encouraging.

It is really just this simple--what odds would it have taken for you to bet that Charlotte would beat Marshall and USM this year? What about on the road? Me too, and I wear Niner goggles. Winning these games is a big deal.

I love our new "family" members, although I miss the trash talking sessions I'd get into with fans of East Carolina, Memphis, & Central Florida. They were a lot of fun. I've given UTSA a hard time every time they visit Bartow Arena in basketball.
