That goes both ways. Women fight for equal treatment, equal pay, equal everything. If a woman punches you first, well......equal treatment.
Good luck with argument in front of a judge and jury... I beat her ass because I am a fememinist at heart and just wanted to treat her equally.

That is not what I am saying. Women can't go around hitting guys and expect to not get hit back.

A guy should never ever strike a woman just like a woman should never strike a guy. Neither one should be acceptable.

I just completely disagree with that. A man should never hit a woman. That does not mean that I think it is okay for a woman to get physically violent with a man. It just simply means, should a woman hit a man, that man either needs to walk away from the situation. That is all. A woman hitting a man does not justify a man hitting a woman IMO. Just like a child hitting an adult does not somehow justify that adult hitting the child back. Should the child hit the adult in the first place? Of course not. Does that make it okay for an adult to get violent with a child? Of course not.

Should never hit a woman unless it's in defense and when I say defense she better have a weapon or something of the sort

There was a young woman -- a husband beater
They all let her hit them but still couldn't keep her
One struck back at the hot tamale
And wound up in Susanville* lamenting his folly.

Did you give Tarik Black, Austin Nichols and Nick King the benifit of the doubt ? Just asking
How in the world is this about those guys? #1, I rarely say much here, I'm mainly a lurker. But if I comment on something, I've usually heard something. But if this floats your boat cuz, have at it.

No need to get defensive I was just asking a question

I just notice that a lot of folks on here that usually rush to judgement on other players or ex players are now saying give DJ the benefit of the doubt

It's not so much about what's fair or equal, as it is about what will prolly happen to the guy...even if she attacked first.

If the woman comes at him with a gun or a golf club...well...I think we all know the ending to that story. It was still a no win situation.

Unfair truth of our society. And if a man who doesn't retaliate against a woman who physically abuses him and has her arrested, often he'll be seen by peers as a wimp or punk.

I lived through a relationship where my gf allowed tried to provoke me into striking her. I don't do that. But when my friends hear about what I'm going through, several basically said I needed to strike her. Mentality of some. She's trying to put me in a trap and be a victim and they suggest I play into her hands. Sad and ironically demented world sometimes.
