In this case, yes. But it was known that our recruiters were telling the class of 2017 that we were going to be in the Big 12 and that's why we got a few that had offers from the bigger schools.

Memphis v Oklahoma is a tough recruiting battle to win. Love that Coach Norvell is setting his sights high, though. Can't win with kids no one else wants.

Its easier for Okl to offer him if he isnt committed anywhere, He is hoping they will offer over the weekend on his visit.

Mays and Owens have also said they are no longer Tiger commits according to the 247 site.

It says that OU and OK State have become heavily involved with them now.

Well now we finally know the truth. We didn't get into the B12 because the state of OK wanted our 3-star recruits. All kidding aside, I do believe this is because of the B12 fallout. I know that Coach Norvell had to be using that heavily.

I never bought we were telling recruits that. Noway, you are telling a bunch of teenagers that and it never leaks out, especially now that we are not in...

It's why I don't pay much attention to football recruiting until they are signed
