Yep. I think most of us had a bad feeling about it and that this may happen.

Has nothing to do with Big12. This is part of norm for every school.

with the way this staff recruits...I aint skeered...

The staff are recruiters so it's a norm to them. They will find a suitable replacement for our scheme

In this case, yes. But it was known that our recruiters were telling the class of 2017 that we were going to be in the Big 12 and that's why we got a few that had offers from the bigger schools.

So the kid is FROM Oklahoma... he probably didn't think he was going to get an Oklahoma offer for whatever reason... Then Oklahoma says, "hey why don't you come here for a visit." Recruitment reopened. Its the nature of recruiting.

If you thought that then you are one confused soul. I'm just concerned and have been that this could happen. We will see.

And to those saying its normal and it has nothing to do with the big 12 fiasco- 1) we don't get that many higher ranked recruits like the bigger schools. So yes, it kinda is out of the norm for us. And hurts. 2) There were several recruits mentioning our possible future admission to the big 12. So someone was telling someone something. Lol

But I do agree. I have confidence norvell and his staff will find a suitable replacement. That's never been in question. At least so far.
