Well close to "any", anyway.
UCF is undefeated against UConn in basketball games played outside of the US.

Maybe since the trophy is so embarrassingly bad, the new tradition is that the loser has to take it.

If I were going for those demos, I'd try media like Sports Illustrated for Kids and tie youth sports with the education aspect of CFB.

Agreed. Diaco was pretty clear that he was trying to drum up interest and conversation for when these two schools with no shared history or similarities play (he succeeded) and he stated the it didn't start as a "one-sided" thing. Based on what Diaco said, it sounds like either Aresco or UCF didn't do their part by having UCF reciprocate on this whole thing.

A healthy Civil ConFLiCT would have been good for the AAC. It gets fans nationally with no horse in the race to tune into the game out of curiosity as well as making UConn and UCF fans more invested in this matchup. Oh well.

What Diaco did is no different from the rivalries that were started up when the Big East expanded in 04.

The "River City Rivalry" between UC and Pitt was a made up rivalry too. It's not uncommon when conferences change.
