Been forever since I have been there but the Holiday Inn in Perrysburg is nice. Pool and arcade games. Used to have indoor mini golf but i dont see it anymore. We used to go there for a weekend when I was a kid. Seemed like a mini resort.

^. This. Pretty sure they had a sign at Holiday Inn French quarter that said 18+ to swim. There is a pinned post for visiting fans on our Launch Pad site w lots of things to do/places to eat, etc.

If you're willing to drive a bit farther, there's Castaway Bay resort in Sandusky. It has an indoor waterpark run by the same people as Cedar Point.

Its a 25 minute drive to the Glass Bowl but Maumee State Park Lodge is very kid friendly. And interesting enough for the wife and daughter to stay busy while your away. It probably perfect.

Yeah, I'll second this recommendation. Maumee Bay State Park is maybe 25 minutes away from the Glass Bowl..but you'll feel like you're on a little vacation. Sits beautifully on Lake Erie. If you're into golf, be sure to bring your clubs as there's an 18-hole course right outside the resort. Best thing yet, I don't think it's too pricey either.

Between Toledo and Sioux City, IA I don't think those two cities will ever finish their respective construction zones. Ugh.

It's nice to say, Toledo is acually making progress. 23/475 is pretty much done. 75 from the river to 475 is finally done. now this last big project....will be done in 2018 haha

I have been driving since 2003 and the same areas in Toledo have been under construction since then and the same goes for Sioux City. They never finish them. i love what Michigan does. They set a completion date in the contract with the contractors and they include a bonus for everyday it's completed before the completion date and a fine for everyday it takes to complete it past the completion date.

Be glad you don't live in Columbus where they have been working on the north side since 2013.

I try to avoid Columbus as much as possible especially the area around I-70/I-71.

Yeah..... Downtown and the North Side are just awful. That's why I live on the west side, less congested and it only takes me 10 minutes to get downtown.

But wait there's more...

New I75 downtown/Anthony Wayne Trail interchange and DiSalle Bridge replacement starts when this project is finished in 2018, each is a 3-year project which takes us out another 10 more years.
